Seasons Change เพราะอากาศเปลี่ยนแปลงบ่อย

Kinda old, around 3 years back, but this is still my favourite Thai movie till date. The romance, comedy and music really makes this movie worthwhile to watch. Oh yeah, Nart Yuwanart Arayanimitsakul is my FAV Thai girl of all time. (She's 5 yrs older than me. Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!) The song Wat Jai is not bad and the lyrics by pop singer-songwriter Boyd Kosiyabong is a nice touch. Overall, It's really just a nice movie to watch once in a while. It took me about 3 days just to sub this into Srt, since there were no Eng subs available due to Piracy concerns. The only one there is, is from Crunchyroll.

The story takes place at the College of Music, Mahidol University over one year and covers the three seasons that Bangkok typically experiences – summer, winter and monsoon. It chronicles the life of a young high school student, Pom, and his impulsive decision to attend a music school, unbeknownst to his parents, because of a girl he has secretly liked for three years, Dao. At the music school, he befriends Aom, who eventually becomes his best friend at the academy.

As a talented rock drummer he aids a wise Japanese instructor, Jitaro in research. He also forms a rock band with two friends, Ched and Chat. However, in order to become closer to the talented violinist Dao, he joins the orchestra and is assigned by the feisty conductor, Rosie, to play timpani.

Eventually, as time schedule collides, he is forced to choose between playing in a rock band or the orchestra, and is also forced to choose between his crush on Dao, or his best friend, Aom.

Ballad: Namonaki Koi no Uta

Tokyograph News:
SMAP member Tsuyoshi Kusanagi is starring in a period film titled "Ballad: Namonaki Koi no Uta." The movie revolves around a love story between a Sengoku-era general (Kusanagi) and a princess (Yui Aragaki), directed by Takashi Yamazaki of "Always: Sanchome no Yuhi" fame.

The story is actually based on the plot of the 2002 animated movie "Crayon Shin-chan: Arashi wo Yobu Appare! Sengoku Daikassen." That film won many awards, including the grand prize in the animation division of the Japan Media Arts Festival.

In "Ballad," Kusanagi plays a general of a small state. The princess, played by Aragaki, is offered a political marriage with a daimyo of a neighboring state, and war ensues when she turns down the offer. A key character in the plot is a young boy named Shinichi (originally Shin-chan), who comes from the future. 11-year-old Akashi Takei plays the role of Shinichi.

The film, which will heavily use CG for its battle scenes, is apparently budgeted at 2 billion yen. The supporting cast includes Michitaka Tsutsui, Yui Natsukawa, Atsuo Nakamura, and Takao Osawa. Filming started late last month and is expected to finish in January. The movie's tentative release date is in September 2009.

OMG!!! I can't wait for this movie to come out. Yui Aragaki is as beautiful as ever and Tsuyoshi Kusanagi looks suited for that role. Eventhough their age difference is quite big, this is nothing when it comes to true love right. I still think Gackt should take up this role instead of Tsuyoshi, he looks so awesome as Uesugi Kenshin in the drama Fūrin Kazan.

Bride of the Water God

One of the more beautifully drawn types of manga. I hope this manga has a real anime adaptation.

Story Summary (From Wikipedia)
Soah is a girl from a small village suffering from a long devastating drought. In order to appease the Water God, the most beautiful girl from their village must be sacrificed. Soah is chosen to become Habaek's bride, but instead dying at the hands of a monster, she was unexpectedly rescued by Habaek and brought to his Water Kingdom.

As Soah learns to live in a strange new world filled with gods, she is caught up in various intrigues surrounding Habaek and finds it increasingly difficult to know who she can trust. In the midst of such trouble, she finds she has fallen in love with Mui, unaware that the young man is the true form of the childlike Habaek.

top 3 anime i think should turn real live action/ movie adaptation

No.3 ~ Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora (半分の月がのぼる空, The Sky in Which a Half-Moon Rises)

Based on a light novel by Tsumugu Hashimoto, a romance love story that revolves around two seventeen year olds, one being terminally ill and the other admitted with hepatitis A. The anime adaptation is a nice touch in a sense that it brings out the main characters innocence and how he matures in time, including funny moments and comedical acts that doesn't even make sense in some parts throughout the whole series. Unfortunately, the anime adaptation is short and only 6 episodes which could have been much better if it was longer with more character developements as well as decisions made with consequences better or worse. The characters drawn look very normal and very much like secondary characters in my pov, except for Rika since she looks like Shana. A real live adaptation should be made since the characters from the drama adaptation doesn't appeal to me at all. The should call in the heavy hitters like the ever popular Yui Aragaki for example for the cast of Rika or maybe Takayuki Yamada for the cast of Yuichi. The real live action if there were to be one would most probably have mix reviews similar to movies such as 1 litre of tears or Taiyou no uta depending on the script and how the director executes the project.

No.2 ~ Kyou Kara Maou! (今日から㋮王!, literally 'Starting Today I'm the Demon King!'?)

God Save Our King, does it ring a bell? A normal high school kid, flushed down the toilet into a world of magic where the long feud war between humans and demons collide only to be crowned the next demon king. A nice anime with an easy going, peacekeeping demon king guided by his 3 subordinates who are brothers that don't look alike. The only thing i dislike about this anime is there are no romance progression at all, wolfram is so gay, Conrart / Conrad is too perfect except for his really poor jokes and Gwendal always conceals his emotions. After watching all 3 seasons, I felt that this series should at least have a movie adaptation, especially the story revolving the dramatic and epic battle between the demon tribe and the humans before the series started. The formation of the Luttenburg / Ruttenburg division, how they were mistreated and discriminated based upon their mixed lineage of human and demon bloodlines, being forced to the front lines for the sake of redeeming their loyalty to the nation. Should there be one, I would love to see how Conrad who was once as cold as ice in action during the Last stand of the Luttenburg division as well as his forbidden feelings for Suzanna Julia Von Wincott eventhough clearly unstated, with more character developements in the movie. The production company would of course be Madhouse Studios since they always produce such excellent anime graphic qualities that would leave some in awe. There should be a detailed battle sequence of how The Luttenburg division fought with gore effects and how only two person, one being Conrad and the other Yozak managed to survive till the end while the rest all perished in battle. How Lady Suzanna actually pushed herself to the limit, her emotions and last wishes before she passes on and why she chose Adalbert Von Grantz instead of Conrad.

No.1 ~ Full Moon wo Sagashite (満月をさがして, Furu Mūn o Sagashite?, lit. "Searching for the Full Moon")

Yes this is it. The number one selection for me. A very touching anime about how a 12 year old girl who has only 1 year to live due to Sarcoma became a pop idol sensation with the help of two kind-hearted shinigami duo with a ridiculous stage name and forms. This anime clearly shows a persons sense of perserverance, integrity and how she copes with all her work while overcoming all obstacles and staying clear to her true objectives. Her love for singing by putting all her emotions and thoughts into the lyrics in order to reach the person she loves really made this anime memorable in many ways. This anime should seriously get a movie adaptation with all the songs from the original series brought back since the lyrics truly represents her emotions and suits the atmosphere real fine. If there were really an adaptation, Comix Wave Studios should be the company doing this due to thier recent work 5 Centimeters Per Second as being one of the most beautifully animated works on-screen. With a nice to watch anime feel, plus solid songs and unforgettable lyrics, I can say Full Moon wo Sagashite's movie adaptation will be a smash hit in the cinemas with more dramatic scenes and expressions untold if they were to be one.

Full moon wo sagashite

A month ago my good friend Chipmunk introduced to me full moon wo sagashite. At first i ignored the fact it did not appeal to me at all. Besides the slightly poorer rendition of anime graphics during that time which is 7 years back to be exact, the op really sucks in my opinion, no offence to all-time fans. Nevertheless i took my time to watch all 52 eps of it. Overall, i'm surprised to say that it really is a touching and nice anime to watch, especially for those who want to kill time and those seeking to rekindle their inspiration they lost long ago.

Interesting facts ~ In my opinion
Both OP for the whole series really suck. All 4 ED from the series are really good with solid lyrics that brought out the main character's purest emotion and thoughts. The first series with all Ed songs that i really find appealling.

Myco who voices the main character Mitsuki can really voice switch in an instant from a 12 year old to someone of a very mature voice of around 30 singing all the songs under Full Moon. I wouldn't have thought they were the same seiyuu untill i saw the credits for the ED

The ending is one of the best i have seen for a very long time and i don feel like its a cliche' at all.

Here are all the 4 ED from the series starting from New Future, Myself, Eternal Snow and Love Chronicle

Swat katz old school but sure kicks ass back then

As far as i can remember, Swat kats used to be one of my favourite cartoons back in the 90's. Its so kick ass until the producers cut the whole season 3 due to concerns in relation to cartoon violence. And its just some nobody mafia boss that got gunshot a few rounds with a semi automatic gun lol. And the cartoons now, rofl. You get a bunch of weird cartoons that brainwashes the kid into a happy happy state lmao. All i can say is, cartoons in the past owns the present day cartoons anytime, period, excluding those of 80's and earlier titles.

The simple things

The only darn song i like from Hey Arnold. Sure is old but brings back memories
