Selvaria Bles, don't hate her just because she's on the enemy's side. Love her since she is definitely the hottest character in Valkyria Chronicles and for her honoured sacrifice on the battlefield . I'm not just talking about the overly proportionate oppai's that Alicia, Cordelia and Isara lacks, but her height, stoic cool yet beautiful looks that elevates her popularity to another level. Sadly, I don't like the ragnite spear and shield she wields, preferred the ones Alicia used though. Just don't let the pointy things below distract you too much, if you know what I mean.

Have no idea what to say, definitely like something from the last post. But this sure is one hell of an awesome Resin Kit. Can't seem to find any flaw on this one. Like the wise Adam Sessler once said ~ I give it a 5 out of 5. Fan service yet again, enjoy.

well-proportioned ~ 5
easy-to-build ~ 5
faithful to the original~ 5
character's charm~ 5
facial expression~ 5

Omg, I can't believe it. Customers won't even give a darn 25/25 for Lenneth but THIS, C'mon!! Technically I have no offence about Resin Kits of these genre. Sure it does seem easy to build and resembles somewhat faithful to the origin, based on evenly shaped proportions deserving a 5 overall, but what about the rest? Facial looks normal, charm ..... well 3 I guess. Just because it's from Ikki Tousen and  the bra and pantsu's are detachable, customers give it full 5/5. (LoL, can't argue with that.) My point is, they should give more consideration to other resin kits that deserve much more praise and credit for such as Lenneth and Aerith. Anyway here are some of the fan services provided below, haha enjoy.

Good Smile Company Version (PVC Figure) Morikawa Yuki X Ogata Rina

Two of the main and more prominent characters featured in the White Album series. These two delicate PVC figures really caught my eye. Gonna take a closer look on Morikawa Yuki first before proceeding to Ogata Rina.

Morikawa Yuki Good Smile Company Version (PVC Figure)

Manufacturer : Good Smile Company
Scale : 1/8
Material : PVC
Producer : Ken Yokota
Original : White Album
Release Date : Mid Jan., 2010
Regular Price : 6,191 yen about 68.93 USD
Sales Price : 5,881 yen about 65.49 USD
Points Acquired : 294 points

Item code : 965345
Store code : 10098356

Description:
The high school idol with hidden potential.
With its anime version now complete, the popular work 'WHITE ALBUM' is now due to have a PVC figure of the amateur idol and main heroine 'Yuki Morikawa' join its product line!

She has been sculpted based on an illustration that displayed her singing on a live stage, wearing her stunning stage outfit. Whilst she is normally a very reserved girl, here she has gathered her courage and is singing on stage, creating a truly magnificent performance.

The first of the Figure to be released, 14 days ago to be precise. I really do like the hair lining for this one. Her outfit for her debut live performance of hit single ~ White Album in eps 13 (final eps of Season 1) is as cute as ever, a classic reminiscence of anime in the olden days.

Description:
The top idol who used all her talents to the best of her ability.
Following the Yuki Morikawa figure from the popular game and anime series 'White Album', comes a PVC figure of Yuki's work superior and top idol, 'Rina Ogata', here just in time for the start of the second anime season.

Just like Yuki, Rina has been sculpted in her stage outfit as if preforming at a live event for her fans. She was born with enough natural skill to write her own lyrics, and even design her own costume - and that costume can be seen here, truly bringing out both her talent, and her charm.

The second figure to be released, yesterday that is. My favourite between the two, a spectacular outfit by the way. Her live performance of Sound of Destiny was tight scheduled but she made it on time, was dress to kill and executes the concert perfectly with splendid quality performance to be reckon with. Hope they'll make another set of PVC Fig off eps 26 last performance ~ Powder Snow.

The Qwaser of Stigmata

The Qwaser of Stigmata (聖痕のクェイサー Seikon no Kweisā?) is an ongoing manga series authored by Hiroyuki Yoshino and featuring art by Kenetsu Satō. The manga is serialized in the shōnen manga magazine Monthly Champion Red. It will be published in North America by Tokyopop. A 13 episodes anime television series adaptation is currently broadcast.

The story takes place on the grounds of St. Mihailov Academy, a Japanese Eastern Orthodox school, and draws heavily on religious references from the aforementioned religion. Here it follows the trials and hardship of two of its students, Oribe Mafuyu and Tomo Yamanobe, until the encounter with a mysterious, silver-haired, Russian boy named Alexander, or Sasha for short. This puts them and the whole school in an all-out war between the Church itself and the so-called "Adepts", a sect of individuals wielding powers linked to the elements of chemistry. Though based on the common magical girl concept shown in series such as Sailor Moon, the story diverges in depicting extreme acts of bloodshed, brutality and perversion, and also makes heavy use of fanservice.

One important and controversial theme of the series is that of the sacred substance known as Soma, which allows the Qwasers to draw upon their powers and wield their elements in battle. This is connected to the main goal of the Adepts, the Theotokos of Tsarytsin, an icon depicting the Virgin Mary breastfeeding an infant Jesus which, according to their belief, holds the secrets of the Sacred Mysteries, such as the Messiah's resurrection. Linked to this is the fact that the Soma is, in actuality, breast milk, and that the Qwasers have to replenish themselves by means of suckling it, a process which apparently derives pleasure and tires heavily those women who nurse them.

If you think Princess Lover is full of fan service, it's nothing compared to this anime. This is by far the closest thing I can categorized as hentai for an anime. Watch the Director's cut version and you will know just why I said so. The nice thing about this anime, isn't about the amount of lush jelly like mountain flesh you could set you're eyes upon but the twisted storyline that just fit in nicely and the fight scenes ~ kinda like a little combo of Fullmetal Alchemist (battle) and the battle music reminds me of BGM from older classic Castlevania titles modernized to the rock beat of present. Overall nice anime to watch but not for kids ~ They will turn evil watching this lol. SERIOUSLY. The OP and ED theme are not bad in my opinion. Check it out.

The OP (Errand by Faylan) releases today aka. Single under Lantis LAbel

UBW ~ 90 minutes?

Unlimited Blade Works Movie (UBW) released nationwide 3 days ago was something I really want to watch damn it, after watching the 2nd trailer. The thing is, I was hoping for something of a longer duration ~ about 120 minutes instead of a densely packed 90 minute film or so. Hopefully it doesn't convey the scenario of too many cooks spoil the broth. I want to watch this so badly as it exude Rin's moe moments, Archer's mass medieval arsenals that only appeared in-game. The battle between Shiro and Archer and the final battle between ~ Don wanna spoil it if you haven't played the (Rated 18) game. I hope the Shiro x Rin scene was not too much of a teaser for many lol. (Her complaint about Shiro after a certain incident was the best dialogue for the entire game for me ~ You'll definitely know which scene I mean if you had played the UBW route). Shiro was totally dumbfounded after that. Gonna wait months till a good quality release ~ Still haven't watched EVA 2.0 You can (Not) Advance yet. The cam rip sucks. My friend was darn lucky he got to watch it in the cinemas in Singapore that time. Too bad they never show movies of these genres here in Katz City.

Summer Wars ~ Last Year's best Family film

Summer Wars (サマーウォーズ Samā Wōzu?) is a 2009 anime science fiction film. The film focuses on a timid eleventh-grade math genius who has been falsely implicated in the hacking of a virtual world and, with the aid of a classmate's extensive family, must prevent the real and computer-simulated worlds from colliding. It was produced by the Japanese animation studio Madhouse and directed by Mamoru Hosoda.

The story centers on high school student Kenji Koiso (Ryūnosuke Kamiki), a child prodigy in mathematics who spends his time immersed in OZ, a massive computer-simulated virtual reality world. Kenji is a genius with numbers but ill-adept socially. He secretly has a crush on his attractive senpai Natsuki Shinohara (Nanami Sakuraba) but does not have the courage to tell her. At the beginning of summer vacation, he is asked by Natsuki to help in celebrating her great-grandmother's 90th birthday. Although Kenji does not know the details of the plan, he agrees and goes with Natsuki to her grandmother's estate in Ueda, Nagano Prefecture. Much to Kenji's surprise, he is introduced at the Shinohara family house as Natsuki's fiancé.

As Kenji tries to act the part, meets Natsuki's dozens of relatives, and deals with the advances of computer expert Wabisuke Jinnouchi (Ayumu Saitō), Natsuki's uncle and "first love", he receives a mysterious e-mail with a mathematics code. He cracks the code and returns it to the sender but finds himself at the center of a developing news story the following day. Overnight, OZ has been hacked and turned into a digital deadzone, and he is the prime suspect. Using Kenji's account and avatar, the real "hacker", which is actually the advanced artificial intelligence system Love Machine, has stripped the virtual world empty and wreaks havoc in the real world. With car navigation systems disabled and computers malfunctioning, Japan grinds to a halt. Love Machine also gains control of a satellite and threatens to send it crashing to Earth. In order to fight back, Kenji enlists the help of Wabisuke, Natsuki's family, and his best friend using an army of avatars. With the fate of the world at stake, a great online summer war takes place.

Definitely the best family film from last year for me. This is one of those films you watch once, feel satisfied and wouldn't mind watching it over again in a few months time. The story is somewhat amusing throughout, yet climatic to the point that you will understand what it feels like to carry the weight of the whole world under your shoulders. Although the film has an obvious / cliché ending, it's worthwhile to watch it to the end since there is always a lesson to learn from most films such as these. Family, love, friendship, responsibility and trust. A noteworthy family film and thus recommended for all.

00 Raiser (PG)

Manufacturer : Bandai
Scale : 1/60
Series : Gundam00 (PG)
Original : Gundam00
Release Date : Late Nov., 2009
Regular Price : 25,000 yen about 278.37 USD
Sales Price : 23,750 yen about 264.45 USD
Points Acquired : 1187 points
Jan code : 4543112610164
Item code : 2088233
Store code : 10097646

For some reason 00 just doesn't have that feel for me in a Gundam series. Heck I don't even like Setsuna F. Seiei, I rather Lockon Stratos be the main character. But the mech represents 3/4 of a Gundam series anyway and thus 00 Raiser PG from last year is a nice additional touch for your collection. XXXG-00W0 W-Gundam Zero Custom Special Ver.(PG) is still hands down my favourite PG model till date, but gonna save that for later. The models for Setsuna and Saji look darn mediocre, but that's what to expect. All focus goes to Gundam lol.
